ART PARTIES & ART EVENTS IN L.A. for 2017
[WEEK 17-18] * May 01 – May 07
All considered, a very calm week.
Suggestion for the week: On Saturday, try a No Car Opening Party evening: Leave your car at home, and get on the Gold Line from Union Station, so you can enjoy both the good art and the good vine… 😉 Get off at Memorial Park, and from there first go to Flower Pepper Gallery, 121 East Union Street, Pasadena (open from 4:30 to 7:30pm) and from there to the Armory Center for the Arts, 145 N. Raymond Avenue, Pasadena. (open from 7:00-9:00pm). Then hop back in the Gold line to the Pico Aliso Station (two stops after Union Station) and walk to Grey Projects, 1499 East 4th Street, Unit 111, Los Angeles CA 90033 (also open from 7:00-9:00pm and from there finish walking to the nearby Corey Helford Gallery, 571 South Anderson Street (enter on Willow), Los Angeles, CA 90033, open from 7:00-11:00pm [Most recommended Opening Party for the week, both for the Art and for the party itself!]
